As a researcher at the UW you are interested in the demographic composition of the students in BIS 315 courses.  You are interested in the characteristic that would help the registrar’s office plan services to support student success. The registrar’s office would like you to conduct a preliminary statistical analysis to describe the sample characteristics in the dataset and write a report for the registrar’s office. They believe this dataset is representative of BIS 315 students and can be used to help leaders make important education policy decisions.
